How are cultures and Traditions Expressed throught dance??

During week 1,we had a variety of learning experiences to tune us into ideas about our new big question for this term - how are cultures and traditions expressed throught dance? We had a performance from the Boys High Pacifica group, a performance from St peters Pacifica group and a drumming workshop. I enjoyed St peters Pacifica group the most because they let us get up on stage a join in with them it was real cool. I learnt some new things like new dance moves and i can use them later or when i do a dance.

Walt: Recognise how St James lived a life following jesus and spreading the good news.

Our School is named after St James because the man who built our school was called James.

Walt:Present the infromation I have learnt during my inquiry simply and clearly so taht others can gain the most important information from my presentation.

The voicethread explanis what i have learnt during ny inquiry on the glow - worm Something i think I did really well during this inquiry process was when i used lettering,colour and images to support and enhance my presentation because the finale produce came out really cool. Next time i do and inquiry something i could improve on is useing skimming and scaning, key words to summarise the main ideads because i sorta used full sentences instead of only doing key words.The part i liked best about doing an inquiry was finding out info about the Glow - Worm beacause i didn`t know much about glow - worm and it was also alot of fun researching with my friends!!!!.
